More death on account level reserve, that looks like a pretty large scam

Today, my next payment (10/18

/23) is showing over $200 less than the beginning balance.

More sales is reducing my check. Reserve is $37 away from being more than the beginning balance.

Beginning balannce is from 2 weeks ago. How can Amazon take that money and put it back into reserve?

I think there is something wrong with the alogorithm. Amazon, please respond. I can't do business like this.

Trust me I know I will not get an answer here, because I am betting Sundance is a bot.

i request you remove reserve from my sellers account

Well that's a bit rude.

Apparently you don't know enough to realize that you are in a Seller Forum and that @Seller_AXC06kcsKI1qGis another seller answering your question .... in their free time ... as am I.

I would have posted the same. The most logical reason that your balance dropped would be Amazon Buy Shipping Fees, Advertising Fees or FBA Fees coming out .

Maybe it's an increase in sales. I see your feedback was 0 for a year and then you got 6 since August.

HOWEVER ... if your inventory is mostly stored in FBA ... I wouldn't expect the high reserve.

Sorry, but complaining because of an Amazon Reserve is like Don Quixote "tilting at windmills." I have never seen anyone get traction on resolving it.

And A-to-Z claims...

When an A-to-z Guarantee claim is filed, the claim amount will be reserved until the claim is resolved. Some claims can take up to 14 days or longer to resolve, but the reserve will be released after the claims are processed.

Amazon typically reserves your sales proceeds until a certain number of days after the delivery date of an order to ensure you have enough funds to fulfill any refund requests from buyers.

Amazon determines the exact number of days based on an assessment of your overall risk and historical performance, with the default being 7 days after delivery date (“DD+7” policy), but could be longer depending on your account.

When you use an integrated shipping provider, Amazon will use the actual delivery date of the order. In the absence of valid tracking data, Amazon will use the latest estimated delivery date.

After the reserve period, the funds will be available for transfer to your bank account.

For example, if you sell something on January 1, and it’s delivered on January 6, then under the DD+7 policy, your funds will become available for disbursement starting on January 14.

Hello @Seller_cSYbFnG6zQju5,

Thank you for reaching out. I wanted to follow up and see if you have any additional questions regarding account level reserves? It is a normal part of selling on Amazon to see funds in the Account level reserve section of the Statement View tab on your Payments report. It’s the amount of money that is reserved to ensure that you have enough funds to fulfill any financial obligations, such as refunds, claims, or chargebacks.

I see that @Seller_AXC06kcsKI1qG(who is not a bot) and @Seller_J46Ruz3VzvWCVhave provided some great answers and guidance based on their experiences.

For more information please see the following:

What is account level reserve?

Why didn't I get paid?

If you feel the issue is any error, please feel free to open a seller support case for details around your ALR.

Have a great weekend.

Cheers,

Micah

I can't see your account or know the history to say if it does or doesn't warrant that high of a Reserve ... BUTTTTTTT ... I can advise you to at least try to get Amazon to do something (I would too) while accepting that they very likely won't. Life will be less stressful.

Are you aware of all your selling fees?

Are you buying postage from Amazon as well?

Are you spending money on Advertising?

All that is taken out of your sales.

And if you want to talk with an Amazon employee you need to make a case here:

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/center

You can review every transaction here:
