Dropshippers and Safe-T claims. Mods, please help!

We are losing Safe-T claims on hazmat items when buyers claim - item is not as described. (Even when we have pre-shipment photos with UPC and manufacturer's part number visible).

These are claims where the buyer's name does not match the name on the address. Once the order arrives, they claim - product not as described. *THESE ARE DROPSHIPPERS* Sellers have no path to report these buyers.

When we send photos proving that the customer provided inaccurate information to Amazon, then the Safe-T claim team tries to fight that it's non-returnable unless it's buyer-faulted. When the customer is providing Amazon inaccurate information, IT IS BUYER FAULTED.

Order ID: 114-2874860-3897013 SAFE-T claim ID: 44750-93846-2971527

Order ID: 111-5185830-3431448 SAFE-T claim ID: 86000-65227-3974006

How can we report these buyers?

MODs, could you please take a look at these Safe-T claims? You are appreciated!

On both of these Safe-T claims where the customers claim: Product not as described

We attached pre-shipment photos of the order that include:

  • Packing Slip
  • Shipping Label
  • Product - including UPC and manufacturer's part number.

The pre-shipment photos prove that we shipped exactly what matched the detail page on Amazon.

The buyers are providing false information to Amazon to receive refunds.

MODs, please help!

Thank you for your assistance.

Greetings MODs,

Your help is still needed on these 2 claims. Customers claim: Product not as Described

The Safe-T claims team did not view the attachments of pre-shipment photos showing UPC and the manufacturer's part number. We sent exactly what matches the detail page.

We ship these products frequently without issues. These customers provided Amazon with incorrect return reason codes.

Please help!

Still need help, please.

These customers lied to Amazon with incorrect return reason codes. Which makes these claims buyer-faulted.

MODs, we need your help to make them look at the attachments of pre-shipment photos showing UPCs.

What we shipped matched the detail page exactly.

It's tiresome fighting Safe-T claims over orders we shipped correctly. Amazon - stop refunding scammers.

Please help, thanks!

Hello @Seller_nxvyRDZCFduAS- and thank you for highlighting these two claims. Danny here, hoping I can help share some information you might find helpful.

I understand your emphasis that these buyers may be misrepresenting their experience to Amazon when seeking reimbursement for receiving an item they believe to be different than described. In cases where Amazon provides the customer service for an order, the terms and conditions for the Customer Service by Amazon program would apply. Specifically, they state:

"Amazon-Provided Customer Service: We will be responsible for all customer service issues relating to shipment and customer returns, refunds, and adjustments related to CSBA Units. We will determine whether a customer will receive a refund, adjustment, or replacement for any CSBA Unit, and you agree to be bound by our decisions. You also consent to deductions against your seller accounts for our decisions to allow returns or refunds. "

As the team reviews SAFE-T Claims for orders for sellers that are enrolled in the CSBA program, orders not returned because they are designated as non returnable by Amazon are not eligible for reimbursement, unless the return reason is buyer faulted.

Should you believe CSBA to not be the best fit for your business moving forward, you can look to the opt-out instructions available on this help page.

For suspicions that the buyer may be a party violating Amazon policies, you can report the issue via this pathway for our team's investigation, but please note the outcome of internal investigations may not be shared externally due to privacy reasons.

Thank you again for posting, and I hope this information helps.

Best regards,

Danny
