About a month ago, the package was returned to the us due to an incorrect or missing address. After correcting the address and confirming it with the buyer, I resent the order, and it has been received successfully.
However, I noticed that the payment for this order is still marked as deferred. Could you please advise on how I can confirm the delivery and ensure that the payment is processed?

Not totally sure, but I think you should have maybe messaged the customer explaining that it had been returned to you, given a refund and then told them to re-oder, so that you could confirm shipment and be paid.
