How do you determine your FBM shipping costs?
We would like to get our FBM shipping costs more reasonable but it's difficult as each product has a different weight, each order is shipped to different locations. UPS and USPS carriers have different costs. We do not want to "eat" any shipping costs.
How do you decide your FBM shipping prices? We're trying to drive more customers to our FBM products vs FBA.

For each product pick your preferred shipping setting (usps, ups, fedex etc.) and then see how much it is to ship that item to any zone in the U.S. and use the highest amount. for example USPS ground advantage highest cost to ship is $4.51 for up to 4 ounces so set the shipping rate at $4.51 for an item at that weight and do this for all similar items. If you can work the shipping fee into your item price and then show as free shipping on your listing more buyers will go for the free shipping the majority of the time.
