Swedish Buyers Exploiting Pricing Errors, FBA Orders Still Pending but Amazon Refuses Cancellation

Hi everyone,

I’ve just experienced a clear pricing error on Amazon Sweden (9.99 SEK instead of 9.99 EUR), which triggered a huge spike of orders within minutes which literally drained all available units. Some of the orders are for 10-15 units. I do not have such orders for even a month in Sweden. All of these orders are still showing Payment Pending, yet Support keeps telling me that “shipments have already been created”, which doesn’t make sense - you can’t create a shipment for an unpaid order.

After checking the forum, I see dozens of similar cases going back years. It seems Swedish buyers are well aware of this loophole and exploit obvious pricing mistakes immediately. What makes it worse is that, with FBM, sellers can cancel such orders instantly, but with FBA we have zero control, even when the issue is clear and documented.

This doesn’t feel fair, and Amazon really needs to address it.

Any guidance on how to push this to the right team would be appreciated.

Thanks!
